Woman in Fatal Accident on Route 34 Identified
A 25-year-old woman died in the accident Monday morning.
Police have identified a woman who died in a car accident on Route 34 Monday as 25-year-old Nicole C. McDonald of Seymour.
The Valley Independent Sentinel reports that McDonald was driving a 2013 Toyota RAV4 west on Roosevelt Drive, Route 34, in Derby, when it collided with a tractor-trailer heading east.
Friends say McDonald was a native of Newtown, was married and had a child.
The crash remains under investigation.
