Patch: What attracted you to the line of work you’re in, and how did you get started?

Monastero: I was always an outdoor person since a young age. I love nature, and that’s what I do for a living now. I started out working for a large company from technician through management, and eventually went out on my my own.

Patch: If you had to sum up your business mission to a stranger, what would you say?

Monastero: Protectors of home, business, family and health.

Patch: What’s the biggest challenge or most difficult moment you’ve faced in your job?

Monastero: Managing growth without sacrificing quality. We will never sacrifice quality for the sake of growth/money.

Patch: What’s the most satisfying part of your job?

Monastero: Solving problems for people, helping clients eliminate pest problems and improving their quality of life.

Patch: How would you say your business or organization distinguishes itself from the others?

Monastero: We hire quality people in the office and field, and train them to be the best at what they do.

Patch: What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given when it comes to success?

Monastero: Focus on quality customer service, and the rest will fall into place.

Patch: Are there any new projects or endeavors you’re working on that you’re extra excited about?

Monastero: We’ve had a service plan, PreVeil Healthy Environments, that we haven’t promoted as much as we should’ve. We’re bringing that service to the public now. It focuses most of our treatment on the exterior of the residence using low- and non-toxic methods to prevent pest problems before they enter the structure. If interior service is needed, there is no extra charge, and it’s done on an as-needed basis (the interior). We have many customers on this program, but customers that have been with us for a long period of time are not familiar with it. With everything that is currently going on with the coronavirus pandemic, we thought it would be timely to introduce this service to everyone. Again, there’s no need for us to go into the home or building, and there’s no need for the customer to wait at home for us to arrive. It’s a better choice for the customer.
