Beloved Ridgefield Restaurant Shutters After Nearly 3 Years
The restaurant stayed open throughout the pandemic, offering curbside and later patio service, before reopening its doors in June.
RIDGEFIELD, CT — The owners of Prime Taco on Danbury Road have announced their restaurant has closed its doors, effective Thursday.
"We have prided ourselves in serving this unbelievably supportive community in Ridgefield for almost three years. Serving up the highest quality product and customer service to you all has brought our owners and staff such gratitude beyond anything we could have imagined," the owners posted on social media.
The restaurant remained open during the pandemic with curbside service, opened their patio for table service on May 20, and reopened for indoor table service on June 17

"We will truly miss those smiling faces that counted on us for lunch, dinner, take-home taco kits, and more. Thank you for welcoming our family into yours. We have loved every moment of it," the owners said on Facebook.
Other Prime Taco area locations are remaining open.
