Coronavirus Ridgefield: Hair and Nail Salons To Close
Ridgefield has mandated that all hair salons and nail salons are to close by the end of day, Wednesday.
RIDGEFIELD, CT — The Town has mandated that all hair salons and nail salons are to close by the end of day, Wednesday.
Director of Health Ed Briggs and First Selectman Rudy Marconi issued the order with powers granted under the Local Declaration of Emergency.
The directive is meant to help limit the spread of the new coronavirus. Briggs reported that one Ridgefield man has recently tested positive for the virus.

The move follows a less restrictive order made Tuesday in Wilton, where traffic within barbershops and hair and salons was limited to appointments only.
