Fiery Ridgefield Car Crash Sends Two To Hospital: Police
The northbound lane of Rte. 7 was closed due to the crash.
RIDGEFIELD, CT — Two drivers were sent to the hospital after a car crash caused one of the involved cars to catch fire on Rte. 7 Monday morning. Police responded to the crash at 9:57 a.m., and the Northbound lane was shut down for around 20 minutes.
Police said two people were transported to the hospital by Ridgefield Ambulance. Both suffered non-life threatening injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
