Hang Up That Cell Phone

Ridgefield police stopped a Danbury man for a cell phone violation at 8 a.m. Friday on the Danbury Road and discovered the he was driving with a suspended license. Police said Oscar Palacios, 38, Comstock Street, was charged with driving with a cell phone without using a hands-free device and driving with a suspended license. He was released on a written promise to appear in Danbury Superior Court on Dec. 2.

This information was provided by the Ridgefield Police Department. A person charged with a crime is innocent until having been convicted in court.
