New Children's Art Studio Opening In Ridgefield

The studio features a variety of offerings, including paint and sip, mommy and me classes, art, theater and more.

RIDGEFIELD, CT — A new children's art studio is set to open on Ethan Allen Highway in Ridgefield, providing a new avenue for local children to explore and learn through the arts. The Arts and Nature School of Ridgefield will be holding a Grand Opening event Saturday, Nov. 11.

The studio boasts a variety of art offerings for children, teens and families; including classes in art, theater, mommy and me, paint and sip and more. Owner Wendy Mitchell said she hopes to cultivate an environment focused on positivity and support.

"My philosophy centers around the concept that each child is different with unique talents and abilities," Mitchell said. "My job is to help develop that talent while building their self esteem in a nurturing environment. Through theater games, improvisation and vocal and theater instruction, we’re helping them develop lifelong skills."
