Ridgefield Police Investigate Theft Of 4 Vehicles
The vehicles had been left unlocked and stolen early Sunday morning, police said.
RIDGEFIELD, CT — Police are investigating the theft of four motor vehicles on Sunday.
Ridgefield Police Captain Shawn Platt said the thefts occurred from residences in the Island Hill Avenue, Hunter Lane, Jefferson Drive and Prospect Street areas in Ridgefield in the early morning hours.
"The targeted vehicles were not secured with the key or fob inside the vehicle," Platt said. "While most of the past stolen vehicles have been recovered after a short time, we continue to urge all residents to be diligent with securing your vehicles and removing your personal effects overnight."
