Ridgefield police said two separate thefts occurred this week in which the suspect stole purses from unlocked cars.

RIDGEFIELD, CT — Ridgefield Police Captain Jeff Kreitz said there have been two recent reports of larcenies from motor vehicles. Both incidents occurred on November 10, 2016 between 4:15 p.m. and 4:45 p.m. at two different childcare facilities in town. In both cases an unknown individual or individuals entered the vehicles through an unlocked door and stole a pocketbook, Kreitz said.
