Lily Faillaci, 11, gathered her friends to do a fundraiser to help people, and they settled on Ann's Place and a backyard carnival. Lily and 14 friends held games, including ring toss, balloon darts, can knockdown and others.
Competitors paid 25 cents for a ticket and everybody won a prize. The team offered standard carnival concessions, including cotton candy, popcorn and baked goods. They attracted nearly 40 neighborhood kids to the event.
"Who should I donate to," Lily Faillaci asked herself, and she decided she wanted to help people with cancer.
