Ridgefield Homecoming to Raise Money For Hurricane Relief: Report

Students will be raising money for relief for victims of hurricanes across the southern U.S. and the Caribbean.

RIDGEFIELD, CT — Ridgefield High School's homecoming will benefit those in the path of what is being called one of the worst hurricane seasons on record, reports the Ridgefield Press. The publication reports students will donate $2 for every ticket sold to the homecoming dance this year.

Student body president Kunal Chauhan told the publication students would host several fundraisers throughout spirit week.

The school will aslo host its annual canned food drive, a competition between under and upperclassmen.
