Ridgefield Man Arrested on Domestic Assault Charges: Police

The first responders found a person in need of medical attention.

RIDGEFIELD, CT — Police charged a Ridgefield man on Friday following what they say was an incident of domestic assault.

At 11:43 a.m., the Ridgefield Police responded to a Peaceable Street address for a "domestic incident in progress," according to the report.

The first responders found a person in need of medical attention. Police and fire crews arranged for the victim's ride to Danbury Hospital for treatment.

Ridgefield police arrested Colin Donnelly, 21, of Ridgefield, and charged him with first-degree assault.

Donnelly is being held on $250,000 bond, and is scheduled to be arraigned at Danbury Superior Court on Nov. 18.
