Ridgefield Mass Vaccination Clinic Accepting Walk-Ins Next Week
Ridgefield officials have scheduled the shutdown of the Yanity Gym mass vaccination clinic for May 27.
RIDGEFIELD, CT — The town will be offering a final round of coronavirus vaccinations at its Yanity Gym clinic on Apr. 29 and 30.
Appointments have been posted on the state's Vaccine Administration Management System. Those 18 and over wishing to receive the Moderna Vaccine may also contact pio@ridgefieldoem.org or call the town Helpline at 203-431-2718 or Ridgefield Social Services at 203-431-2777. Both lines are staffed Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The Ridgefield Mass Vaccination Clinic is a partnership with RVNAhealth.

Although walk-ins will be accepted on a first come, first served basis, town health officials recommend residents call or email to get their name on a list. Those without an appointment may also add their name to the RVNAhealth Daily on call list.
Town officials have scheduled the shutdown of the Yanity Gym mass vaccination clinic for May 27. All second doses originally scheduled there will be honored. Residents may still schedule their first doses at the gym, but will need to get their second doses elsewhere.

"With so many Ridgefielders already vaccinated, we feel it is time to return Yanity to the town as a recreational facility," said First Selectman Rudy Marconi. "There are many other opportunities now to receive a vaccine, so there is less demand for a mass vaccination clinic. We do hope those Ridgefielders who have not yet been able to receive their vaccine will take advantage of this easy opportunity.
