Ridgefield Police: $291,000 Stolen from Ridgefield Home

Ridgefield police charged Mitchell Carroll with stealing $291,000 worth of items from a Ridgefield home.

Ridgefield Police charged Mitchell Carroll, 21, Mountain View Avenue, Ridgefield, was charged with first-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit first-degree larceny after turning himself in to Ridgefield Police Sept. 5 at 7:15 p.m. Police said the arrest arose after a Ridgefield home reported the theft of a large amount of valuables. Police said more arrests are expected, and the value of the items stolen equal about $291,000.

Ridgefield police provided this information. A person charged with a crime is innocent until having been convicted in court.
