Ridgefield Police Arrest Woman for Heroin, with Child in Car
Officers found the driver in the presence of a minor and in possession of marijuana and a substance that later tested positive as heroin.
RIDGEFIELD, CT — Police arrested a Weston woman for risk of injury to a minor and multiple drug charges.
Ridgefield police responded to a call around 7 p.m. on Wednesday, July 31, about a suspicious vehicle in the neighborhood of Nob Hill Road with right side damage. Officers found the driver, Junyuan Tsai, 36, in the presence of a minor and in possession of marijuana and a substance they suspected was heroin, according to the police report.
Captain Shawn Platt confirmed for Patch on Tuesday, Aug. 6, that "the white powder tested positive for heroin."

Tsai was charged with DUI, risk of injury to a minor, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of narcotics.
