Ridgefield Police report that Geoffrey Schneider, 18, Tannery Hill Road, Ridgefield, turned himself in at Ridgefield Police Headquarters at 6:35 p.m. Friday after learning there was a warrant for his arrest. Schneider was charged with second-degree criminal mischief. He was released on a written promise to appear in Danbury Superior Court on Dec. 7.
