Ridgefield Police Launch 'Click It Or Ticket' Thanksgiving Campaign
The Ridgefield Police Department will be working over the holidays to make sure drivers and passengers are wearing their seat belts.
RIDGEFIELD, CT — Form the Ridgefield Police Department: "With the Thanksgiving weekend upon us, Connecticut's law enforcement agencies, including the Ridgefield Police Department, intend to promote safe driving and increase the protection of all motorists. Law enforcement officials are out on Connecticut's roads enforcing the State Occupant Protection laws and issuing citations to those who are unbuckled. The stepped up enforcement will take place from Monday November 21 - Monday November 28."
