The Ridgefield police stopped a car on Danbury Road at about 9:20 a.m. Thursday and charged the driver with driving an unregistered car. Police also discovered the driver, Alaina Lyons, 23, Briar Ridge Road, Ridgefield, was driving with a suspended license and driving without the proper amount of insurance. Police released her on a written promise to appear in Danbury Superior Court to answer the charges on Nov. 18.
