Ridgefield Resident Named VP At Connecticut REALTORS®

East Hartford, CT (January 15, 2020) – M. Augustus “Gus” Ryer, a REALTOR® and commercial broker with Ryer Associates Commercial Real Estate, Inc. in Danbury, serves as 2020 Vice President-at-Large for Small Firms, Region 1 and 2 for the Connecticut REALTORS® (CTR). Ryer has been an active member of both CTR and the Northern Fairfield County Association of REALTORS® (NFCAR) since 2011.

Ryer serves as a Director to CTR and on the Executive and Legislative/Political Affairs Committees.

Locally Ryer serves as a Director to NFCAR. He is the Vice President and Legislative Liaison for the Connecticut Chapter of the Certified Commercial Investment Member Institute (CCIM), and Legislative Liaison for the Commercial Brokers Alliance of Western Connecticut. Ryer is a Director of the Housatonic Development Corporation which provides government guaranteed real estate loans to small and medium-sized businesses. A third generation REALTOR®, Ryer resides in Ridgefield CT.
