How did you come up with the name?

Our name emphasizes our core mission - providing CPR training and certification classes in your home. Learning the skills of CPR has traditionally involved traveling to a training center such as a fire station or a gym. Some people can’t make these classes because of scheduling and childcare conflicts. We aim to eliminate these roadblocks by bringing the same CPR class into your home.

Why start a business in this town?

Ridgefield was the perfect town to launch this business. We are a family oriented, safety conscious community. Designated by the American Heart Association as a Heartsafe Community, Ridgefield already understands how important it is to learn and practice the lifesaving skills of CPR.

What business are you in?

We provide quality and professional CPR, AED, and First Aid training the comfort and privacy of your home or business.

What’s the most difficult challenge you’ve faced as a business owner?

A lot of people are intimidated by the thought of doing chest compressions or giving rescue breaths in an emergency. People feel that these skills are best reserved for emergency responders and sports team leaders. We feel that everyone should know how to perform CPR or handle a choking emergency. Learning what to do before an ambulance arrives can make a big difference in an emergency!

What’s been your proudest achievement since opening?

Since launching Your Home CPR the feedback and positive support we have received from the Ridgefield community has been outstanding! We are thrilled to know that we provide a service that is so well received in the community.

How does your business give back to the community?

As a brand new growing business we are actively looking for ways to give back to our community. We can’t wait to participate in town events such as Fall for Ridgefield and the Ballard Park Kid’s Festival.
