Ridgefield Zip Code Among State's Most Expensive in 2016: New Study

A new study found which Connecticut ZIP codes were the most expensive in 2016. Where does your ZIP code rank?

While prices for luxury homes may be dropping in Connecticut, the state remained one of the most affluent in the country in 2016, according to a study by Property Shark published last week.

The company found that while there was an overall decrease in sale prices for single-family homes and condominiums, seven of the state’s ZIP codes still registered median sale prices of more than $1 million. In a ranking of the state’s 50 most expensive ZIP codes, the top 16 are located in Fairfield County.

Greenwich’s 06870 and 06830 ZIP codes lead the rankings, followed by New Canaan’s 06840 and Darien’s 06820 ZIP codes. Warren’s 06777 ZIP code was the most expensive code outside of Fairfield County, ranking No. 17 overall.
