Ridgefield's Main Street Named 'Pure Magic' at Christmastime

RIDGEFIELD, CT — If you needed another reason to fall in love with Ridgefield, it recently received the distinct honor of having the most magical Main Street at Christmastime in the entire state of Connecticut, according to OnlyInYourState.com. "The Ridge," as native Ridgefielders like to call it, topped the list of the "9 Main Streets In Connecticut That Are Pure Magic During Christmastime," just ahead of Milford, Mystic and Westport.

The writer of the article states: "If you want to celebrate the holidays with the arts, this is definitely the town to do it in. Whether you're heading to the playhouse or the art museum, you'll love catching the lights on your way there."

Last weekend's Holiday Stroll was organized by Downtown Ridgefield business association. The weekend was picture perfect with horse-drawn carriage rides, a bonfire with marshmallow roasting, a live ice sculptor, carolers, strolling toy soldiers and more.
