Undefeated America's Cup Crew, Unique Summer Refreshments

"Deer Isle's Undefeated America's Cup Crews" Book Signing takes place at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Ridgefield Library. Come join Author Mark J. Gabrielson and learn about this Ridgefield resident's first book, published by the History Press. The book, "Deer Isle’s Undefeated America’s Cup Crews: Humble Heroes from a Downeast Island," chronicles the story of the 1895 and 1899 America’s Cup Sailing Competition, is a story of seemingly unbeatable odds, heart-felt patriotism, and the greatest sailing race in the world. 

The Ridgefield Playhouse presents Todd Rundgren Saturday at 8 p.m. Since the late 1960s Todd Rundgren has created an unparalleled body of work including hits like “Hello it’s Me,” “I Saw The Light,” “Can We Still Be Friends” and more. Todd is known as a musical genius for his songwriting, performing and production prowess which has created a fireclay loyal cult following. He will be bringing all of his hits and more to the Playhouse stage!
