WalMart Socks, Underpants, Sixth-Degree Larceny

A Ridgefield woman and a New Fairfield woman were charged with shoplifting, sixth-degree larceny, at 8 p.m. Thursday at WalMart, Newtown Road, Danbury. Police said the two women were charged with taking about $115 worth of socks and underpants. Police charged both Rachel Cascio, 18, Ridgefield, and Kayla Crecco, 18, New Fairfield, with sixth-degree larceny. They were released on written promises to appear in Danbury Superior Court on Jan. 17.

This information was provided by the Danbury Police Department. A person charged with a crime is innocent until having been convicted in court.
