2 Firefighters From Simsbury Injured In Vintage Plane Crash
The two firefighters were among 14 people reportedly injured in Wednesday morning's crash of a World War II-era B-17.

WINDSOR LOCKS, CT — Two firefighters from Simsbury are reported to have been passengers on a vintage World War II-era plane which crashed shortly after takeoff from Bradley International Airport Wednesday morning. The two firefighters were reportedly being treated following the crash, which resulted in several deaths and more than a dozen injuries, according to officials from the Simsbury Volunteer Fire Co.
Officials from the fire department told NBC Connecticut one of the injured firefighters has worked with the department for more than 15 years and the other has been with the department for over five years.
