2nd Driver ID'd In Fatal Simsbury Wreck

SIMSBURY, CT — The name of the second person to die in a fiery three-car crash in Simsbury last week has been released, according to The Hartford Courant. Jonathan Hamilton, 19, died in the Oct. 6 wreck.

Susan Scotti, 57, of Granby, also died in the wreck. The third driver suffered minor injuries.

The crash near Summit Ridge and Princess Lane was reported at 5:11 p.m. State police reported one car rolled over with someone trapped inside. A Life Star helicopter was requested.

Two of the three drivers died.

Hamilton was driving a Volvo XC60, which crossed over the center line into westbound traffic, hitting Scotti's Honda Accord almost head-on, according to The Courant. A Chevy Silverado pickup then struck the Accord.
