Armed Robbery Suspect Sought By Simsbury Police

SIMSBURY, CT — Police are actively seeking an armed robbery suspect who held up a Dunkin' Donuts shop on Routes 10 and 202 late Sunday afternoon.

The robbery at 142 Hopmeadow St. was reported at 5:19 p.m., and involved a suspect who is described as a white man in his twenties or thirties, standing about 6 feet tall, of "average weight," police said.

The suspect was wearing a light green/teal coat with white fur trim on the hood, a Red Sox baseball hat and jeans, police said.
