Bryant University, Smithfield RI

• Bryant University is pleased to recognize the students from Simsbury who have been named to the Deans' List for the fall 2019 semester. Congratulations to Ava Reisel, class of 2020, and Kaitlyn Greenberg, class of 2022.

Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta GA

• Matthew Krajewski of Simsbury earned the distinction of Faculty Honors for fall 2019 at the Georgia Institute of Technology. This designation is awarded to undergraduate students who have a 4.0 academic average for the semester.

Purchase College, Purchase NY

• Abigail Lang of Simsbury has been named to Purchase College's Dean's List for the fall 2019 semester. Lang is studying Language and Culture, Film. To be eligible for the Dean's List, students must carry a semester GPA of 3.5 for Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science programs and 3.75 for Bachelor of Fine Arts and Bachelor of Music Performance programs. They must take a minimum of 12 credits.

Susquehanna University, Selinsgrove PA

• Talia Basch of Simsbury completed her internship this fall at Susquehanna University - Global Programs in Selinsgrove, PA. Basch's responsibilities included developing original student activities/programs, student orientation and administrative support. Through the course of the internship, they gained experience assisting international students and program development. Basch is a Strategic Communications-Public Relations (BA) major in the Class of 2020 and a graduate of the Ethel Walker High School.

University of Hartford, West Hartford CT

• The University of Hartford is pleased to recognize the following students from Simsbury who have been named to the President's List, signified by a 3.75 GPA or higher, for fall 2019: Amanda Buade, Katie Fazzone, Timothy Kodz, Ethan Meskill, Maya Colon, Katherine Fauci, Emmalee Richards and Kristin Weiss.
