Girlyoga, Gen Y, a Place for Inactive Catholics and a Harvest Wine Tasting Reminder

Good morning Simsbury. Today is Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2013. Here are a few things happening today (and one tomorrow).  

1. At noon, the Farmington Valley VNA is offering free blood pressure screenings. 

2. Girlyoga for tweens and teens takes place late this afternoon at 4:30 p.m. 

3. The Gen Y book discussion group meets from 7 to 8 p.m. tonight at Simsbury Public Library. 

4. Awakening Faith, a six-week series, begins tonight at St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Parish, in West Simsbury. See details here. 

5. Looking forward to tomorrow, don't forget about the International Harvest Wine Tasting sponsored by the Simsbury-Granby Rotary.
