Brandy Tasting Evening to Benefit Armenia Tree Project
William Saroyan Night at the Storyteller's Cottage

Many wonderful things have come from the historic country of Armenia, including the Pulitzer Prize winning author William Saroyan, the inventors of the color TV and the MRI machine, and famous Armenian brandy! Winston Churchill’s favorite was the legendary Ararat brandy from Armenia, and from 1945 until his death, he received a complimentary case of it each month from the Soviet ambassador to the United Kingdom.
On Saturday, April 25, from 8:00-10:00 pm, the Storyteller’s Cottage will host William Saroyan Night: Armenian Brandy Tasting. This event is for guests ages 21 and over. Tickets are $35, and a portion of ticket sales will benefit the Armenia Tree Project. Tickets can be purchased here: https://www.storytellerscottage.com/bookings-checkout/armenian-brandy-tasting
Guests will gather in the Storyteller’s Cottage’s elegant Jules Verne Library to taste four vintages of Armenian brandy and enjoy delicious Armenian mezze (appetizers) while listening to an Armenian poetry recitation and traditional Armenian music.
