Campus Achievements By Simsbury College Students

SIMSBURY, CT — Here are some recent notable accomplishments by local college students, as provided by readMedia Newswire.

Emmanuel College, Boston MA

• Emmanuel College has named Hannah Denhof of Simsbury to the Dean's List for the fall 2019 semester. To earn a spot on the Dean's List, Emmanuel students must achieve a grade point average of 3.5 or higher for a 16-credit semester.

Tufts University, Medford MA

• Tufts University recently announced the dean's list for the fall 2019 semester, including Katelin Isakoff and Justin Schuster, both of Simsbury. Dean's list honors at Tufts University require a semester grade point average of 3.4 or greater.

University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa AL

• Gabrielle Anne DiCarlo, Justin W. Whitehouse and Kayla Jeane Foster, all of Simsbury, were named to the Dean's List with an academic record of 3.5 or above during the fall 2019 semester.

University of Hartford, West Hartford CT

• Art work by Gabrielle Raulinaitis of West Simsbury was chosen for the University of Hartford's Goldfarb Juried Student Exhibition. This exhibition, which includes works from the Hartford Art School's most talented students, will be on display in the University's Joseloff Gallery through Feb. 20. The gallery is located on the UHart campus at 200 Bloomfield Ave., West Hartford.

Western New England University, Springfield MA

• Nicholas Peluso, of West Simsbury, has been named to the Dean's List at Western New England University for the fall semester 2019. Students are named to the Dean's List for achieving a semester grade point average of 3.30 or higher. Peluso is working toward a BS in Information Technology.

Wheaton College, Wheaton IL

• Wheaton College student Ezra Lagan of West Simsbury was named to the Dean's List for the fall 2019 semester. To earn Dean's List honors at Wheaton, an undergraduate student must carry 12 or more credit hours and achieve a 3.5 grade point average or higher on the 4.0 scale.
