Connecticut Weather: Concerns Over 4th Nor'easter Grow
For the fourth straight week a powerful nor'easter may impact Connecticut. Here are the new details today.

The next few days will be largely quiet weather-wise, including this weekend, but that doesn't mean it will be warm. Temps will remain stuck in the low 40s through the upcoming weekend and then after a few dry days all eyes turn to Tuesday and Wednesday when a possible 4th nor'easter may impact the state.
The National Weather Service is already predicting rain and snow at the coast for next Tuesday and Wednesday and inland and northern areas of the state are currently expecting to see snow. Again, forecasts are subject to change, and often at the last minute. This storm is still several days away from the state.
As for the present, mostly cloudy skies today with a chance of a few rain or snow showers. It will be chilly on Friday with high temps barely reaching 40 degrees and there will be similar temps this weekend.

WTNH News 8 Meteorologist Gil Simmons said, Another cold day! Forget the temperature! Dress for a wind chill in the 20s ALL day!!! Some sunshine. A flurry or two this evening. Dry & cold for the weekend. #noreasternumber4 Wednesday next week? Have a great day!"
Tuesday's storm is still on our radar. Rain and/or snow a pretty good bet. Track, intensity, amounts to be determined. #nbcct pic.twitter.com/oGOVxOJ13z

Accuweather.com said this morning that "A large storm is likely to track over the Central states early next week. The latest indications are this storm will turn eastward. That storm or a secondary storm may strengthen along the Atlantic coast by the middle of next week. Depending on the track and strength of both of the storms, parts of the mid-Atlantic, or new England or both areas may face yet another nor'easter with gusty winds, snow inland and rain or snow at the coast."

And if you are curious why some towns got almost no snow from this week's nor'easter and some got more than 20 inches of snow, here is a good explanation from NBC Connecticut's Ryan Hanrahan.
What was the deal with these crazy snowfall differences across the state yesterday? I (attempt) to answer it on my blog. https://t.co/Eo8L3vrvpp #nbcct pic.twitter.com/71yKkbrksB
