Deer Rescued from Icy Farmington River in Simsbury: UPDATED
The deer had been chased onto the ice by some coyotes, according to an animal control officer.
SIMSBURY, CT — A deer was chased by some coyotes onto an icy Farmington River Monday morning, and it remained trapped for several hours.
Rescue personnel were able to reach the struggling deer and bring it to land at 1:45 p.m.
