The Delamar Offers Creative Packages for CT Residents
You don't have to leave the state to escape; West Hartford's Delamar Hotel and Spa have just the getaway you deserve.

We seem to encounter new guidelines, restrictions and safety precautions each day, all aimed at protecting us from the pandemic that is currently taking over the world. And while we have adapted quite well, we all know that life just isn’t the same as we are encouraged to stay home, masked and surrounded by as few people as possible. Tensions are high and life is complicated. Who doesn’t feel like escaping? I recently had the pleasure of doing so myself (i.e., escaping the responsibilities of life and the pandemic) while staying at The Delamar in West Hartford, CT. It was a needed getaway for this drained momma and I left feeling refreshed, energized and completely and totally pampered, thanks to the amazing staff at the hotel, its restaurant, and associated spa.
Even though I was only 20 miles away from home, it felt like I was welcomed into another world- a world of luxury, serenity and sophistication. The red piano that adorns the lobby is not only beautifully charming but it has history. Billy Joel himself is said to have once laid his talented fingers on the keys of this piano. The lobby hallway is currently home to a solo art exhibit showcasing the artwork of the talented, Hartford native Ellen Carey. Everything from the hand sanitizer supplied for guests to the pillows on the bed and the lattes in the lobby are truly exquisite. It was by far, the nicest hotel I have ever had the pleasure of staying in. And I felt safe the entire time.
West Hartford’s newest Luxury Boutique Hotel and Spa has risen to the challenge of meeting the safety requirements of pandemic-life without losing the high style of a luxury hotel. Having recently stayed there, I can attest to the high quality of safety measures they are taking- coffee cups at the 24-hour coffee bar and remote controls in each room are individually covered in plastic wrap, the continental breakfast has been updated to a safe and versatile grab and go breakfast, and the hotel is pristine- every nook and cranny. But they didn’t simply vamp up their sanitation- they have created a hotel experience that answers pandemic life, complete with specials that will tempt you to make the escape you’ve been dreaming about.
