Equal Pay Day for Women March 24, 2021

Wear RED on Equal Pay Day to symbolize how far women and minorities are "in the red" with their pay!

Recognize Equal Pay Day on March 24 to symbolize how far women are “in the red” with their paycheck. This is the point into the new year that a woman must work to earn the wages paid to a man in the previous year. Women across the United States will join in a national day of action called Equal Pay Day.

In 2019, median annual earnings in the U.S. for men working full time was $57,456, compared to just $47,299 for women, according to the most recent census data. That means women working full time in the U.S. are paid 82 cents for every dollar earned by men.

Congress must act by passing legislation that will enable all women to take home a fair paycheck.
