Expect Delays: UConn Health Half Marathon, 10K & 5K on June 2
Hartford Marathon Foundation race supports local Boy Scout Troop 175

The Simsbury road race produced each June by the non-profit Hartford Marathon Foundation (HMF) is coming up next week, it's got a new name and a great new community partnership with UConn Health.
The UConn Health Half Marathon, 10K & 5K on Sunday, June 2 will bring more than 2,000 participants to town. The scenic course begins and ends on Iron Horse Boulevard, following the Farmington River on country roads and portions of the bike path.
Delicious grilled cheese sandwiches made by the local Boy Scout Troop 175 await runners after the finish. Since 2009, HMF has partnered with the Boy Scouts to raise more than $41,000 through this event for their community projects. Participants are asked to bring donations and non-perishable foods to benefit Gifts of Love Food Bank.
