UPDATE: Eight Simsbury Runners in this Year's Boston Marathon

Six women and two men from Simsbury are participating in the 119th Boston Marathon Monday.

Participation from Simsbury is almost entirely from middle-aged runners — one, Caitlin Cunningham, is 28; another, Cheryl Cunningham, is 56, and the rest are all all in their 40s.

The Simsbury participants, according to the Boston Athletic Association, are:

• Greg Gorowski, 42
• Lisa Riordan, 42
• Tracy Saperstein, 49
• Shannon Siragusa, 40
• James Trudell, 42

These runners listed themselves as being from West Simsbury, according to the Boston Athletic Association website:

• Caitlin Cunningham, 28
• Cheryl Cunningham, 56
• Anna Hallam, 43
