How Many Simsbury Residents Received Coronavirus Vaccine So Far?
State health officials released data for the first time which shows how many residents in each town have been vaccinated for COVID-19.
SIMSBURY, CT — According to the state Department of Public Health, a total of 2,869 Simsbury residents have received their first dose of the coronavirus vaccine.
There are 25,395 Simsbury residents and 11 percent of them have received their first dose. Simsbury has 1,679 residents over the age of 75 and 1,077 of them have received their first dose or 64 percent, according to state health officials.
Since the pandemic began in March, Simsbury has reported 804 cases and 25 deaths.
