How to Self Publish Your Book

A New Class at the Storyteller's Cottage

Tired of waiting for someone to recognize the quality of your work? Self-publish your book!
Tired of waiting for someone to recognize the quality of your work? Self-publish your book! (The Storyteller's Cottage)

On Thursdays in February, from 6:30-7:30 pm, author TJ Banks will host a How to Self Publish Your Book class at the Storyteller’s Cottage. The class begins February 6th and costs $100 for three weeks, and spots can be reserved here: https://www.storytellerscottage.com/bookings-checkout/how-to-self-publish-your-book

Writers who are wary of the long process and low success rate of traditional publishing, or those who have tried that route and are tired of waiting for someone to recognize the quality of their work and are ready to launch it into the world will benefit from this class. TJ Banks will teach students exactly what is entailed in self-publishing: how to format and edit work, how to design a cover, which self-publishing companies are best, how to promote one’s book, what to expect to spend, and more.

The Storyteller’s Cottage is located in a vintage Victorian house in the center of historic Simsbury, CT, and hosts all manner of immersive literary events throughout the year, including Agatha Christie inspired live murder mystery parties, Great Gatsby themed Jazz Supper Clubs, fascinating close-up illusions at Fine Parlor Magic nights, a Literary Dinner Party series on select evenings at midnight, and more.
