Intro to Scratch Programming @ Simsbury Public Library

Grades 4-8: Create your own interactive stories, games, and animations. Taught by local 9th grader Mackenzie S.

Scratch is an easy to use drag-and-drop programming language that you can use to program your own interactive stories, games, and animations - and share your creations with others in the online community. Scratch helps young people learn to think creatively, reason systematically, and work collaboratively - essential skills for life in the 21st century.

This class will introduce to students the Scratch website and environment. Students will create their first programs as well as learn how to modify the program code.

The class will be taught by local 9th grade student Mackenzie S.
