Stefanie Richardson and her husband Erik recently relocated from Cincinnati, OH to Connecticut to pursue new career opportunities. At Make-A-Wish Connecticut, Richardson’s main responsibility is the recruitment and management of the more than 250 volunteers who give their time and talents to the organization and the wish families they serve.

Richardson shares that she’s “thrilled to join the Make-A-Wish Connecticut team and work with the amazing group of volunteers across the state of Connecticut who bring joy and hope to the wish kids of Connecticut.”

Before moving to Connecticut, Richardson was the Development and Community Relations Coordinator for the Cincinnati Association for the Blind & Visually Impaired. She is a 2014 graduate of Northern Kentucky University with a bachelor’s degree in Communication and minor in Women’s Studies.

Make-A-Wish Connecticut creates life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. We seek to bring every eligible child's wish to life because a wish is an integral part of a child's treatment journey. Research shows children who have wishes granted can build the physical and emotional strength they need to fight a critical illness. Together, generous donors, supporters, staff and volunteers across the state currently grant nearly 250 wishes a year. Since 1986, Make-A-Wish Connecticut has granted more than 3,300 wishes to local children. For more information about Make-A-Wish Connecticut, visit ct.wish.org.
