Mexican Restaurant, Bar Plans Opening In Simsbury
La Joya Mexican Kitchen has filed an application for a liquor license.
SIMSBURY, CT — A new Mexican food restaurant and bar has plans to open in a former Dunkin' Donuts on Hop Meadow Street in Simsbury, according to The Hartford Business Journal. Daniel Stevens recently appeared at a Simsbury Zoning Commission meeting to apply for a liquor license for La Joya Mexican Kitchen at 834 Hop Meadow St.
The restaurant will include 28 seats for indoor dining with another 28 outdoors. The restaurant will initially serve dinner only but could expand to lunch.
La Joya could hire as many as 25 people, The Hartford Business Journal reported.
