Pickup Truck Collides With School Bus In Simsbury

SIMSBURY, CT — Three elementary-age children were evaluated by a school nurse after a pickup truck rear ended a bus on Massaco Street in front of Central School Friday morning.

The bus was carrying children, and three of them bumped their knee or head on the padded seat in front of them. No children required hospitalization, Lt. Fred Sifodaskalakis said.

The accident is under investigation, Sifodaskalakis said.
