The Simsbury Police Department and the Connecticut Veterinary Medical Association are sponsoring the event. Dr. Arnold Goldman, a member of the CVMA and owner of Canton Animal Hospital, is donating his time for this event.

You can get your dogs licensed at the Town Clerk’s Office, and June is the least expensive time to do so. For neutered or spayed dogs, the annual fee is only $8. The fee is $19 for unspayed or unneutered dogs, and it goes up each month after June (to $30 by May). You’ll need a rabies certificate in order to license your dog. Here’s a copy of the dog license application.
