SIMSBURY, CT — Growing concerns over the coronavirus pandemic has prompted school officials in Simsbury to suspend operations for a minimum of two weeks, beginning Monday.

A message posted Thursday on the Simsbury Public Schools website reads:

Effective at the end of school on Friday, March 13th, the Simsbury Public Schools will be closed for two weeks (March 16 – 27) in an attempt to mitigate the spread of the coronavirus.
