Zaid Shabbir, 19, no address listed, was charged with third-degree assault (two counts), disorderly conduct, second-degree strangulation/suffocation and risk of injury to a child, 4:00 p.m.

Sunday, Feb. 2

Melissa M. Roy, 42, of 15 Winterberry Ln., South Glastonbury, was charged with operating under the influence and improper turn, 10:57 p.m.
