Simsbury Chamber of Commerce hosts Sexual Harassment Law Seminar
Free June 27th workshop at Simsbury Public Library

Connecticut is on the brink of making sweeping changes to its sexual harassment laws. While it’s always been prudent for employers of all sizes to provide sexual harassment prevention training to its employees, the law only required that training be given to supervisors at companies with 50 or more employees. Now companies with as few as THREE employees may be required to train ALL employees.
Simsbury Chamber of Commerce, Greater Hartford SCORE, and the Simsbury Public Library will present a free workshop that will introduce small business owners to the changes in sexual harassment laws of which they need to be aware.
Guest speakers Lou George and Ray Hassett are partners at Hassett & George, P.C., a 13-attorney full-service law firm with offices in Simsbury and Glastonbury. They have over 25 years of experience assisting small business owners with all their legal needs.
