Simsbury Coronavirus Update: 15 Cases Confirmed
The number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Simsbury is now 15, according to state health officials.
SIMSBURY, CT — State health officials Tuesday updated the number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Connecticut, totaling 7,781 patients as of 12:30 p.m., including 15 from Simsbury. Statewide, the number of deaths related to the virus is up to 277, with 1,308 hospitalizations. Just over 29,000 people have undergone laboratory testing thus far, officials said.
Fairfield County continues to compile the highest number of confirmed cases with 4,136, or 53.2 percent of the state's total. Simsbury is located in Hartford County, which has confirmed 1,045 cases with 48 deaths.
