Being on the water feels satisfying, but the season still holds some pandemic challenges. Spectators are still not allowed at the races and athletes are facing other challenges besides the obvious. Blisters are a common ailment with rowing, but then applying hand sanitizer on those blisters has added a new twist to the saying "no pain, no gain"
All in all, everyone involved with Simsbury Crew is enjoying the beginning of a new season, and are excited to have scheduled competitions on the calendar. The next race is with E.O. Smith on May 1st, 2021. For more information, please visit www.simsburycrew.org.
