Simsbury Democrats Select Nominees

The Simsbury Democrats gathered on Wednesday to decide who will be running in the fall, reports the Hartford Courant.

First Selectman Lisa Heavner was unanimously selected to run for the position again and nominated for selectmen were Chris Kelly, Garrett Delehanty, and Elaine Lang. Kelly was appointed to the board of selectmen in January to fill Heavner’s vacant seat.

John Thomas Winter and John O’Neil, Jr. were chosen as the two Democratic board of finance candidates.

Current board of education member Todd Burrick and resident Jeff Tindall were selected as four-year candidates for the board of education. Current board member Tom Frank was selected as the two-year school board candidate.
